Twisted Silk

Fine Twisted Silk is made from continuous filament yarn which is reeled off the cocoons and wound into skeins or hanks. 

It has a beautiful sheen but unlike the flat, floss silks, Pipers Fine Twisted Silk has a greater amount of twist in them per inch thereby making these silks especially strong and smooth so are very popular for use in Honiton lace designs.
